There are three levels of prototyping from prototype to mass production run.

【 Simple Standardized Die-sets 】

Level 1 : Initial-prototype

This kind of dies (see the picture below) are disposable. Or processing without dies will be provided. (It depends on shapes).
Manufacture layered-dies by laser cut or wire EDM cut.
Potential problems with mass production will be visualized by analysing the development chart and the data of spring-back. Original simple dies are examples of value engineering.

Level 2 : Improved Prototype

Simple dies for improved prototype are used 2~5 times and produced by hundreds parts.
They are applied to the data of the initial-prototype.
Some parts which need precision are made by Wire EDM or grinder.
These die-sets achieve to change the designs and to remake them partially. And we realize the cost-reduction of remaking partially by applying to the dies of the initial-prototype.

Level 3 : Pre-production Prototype

Simple dies for pre-production enables to produce ten thousands parts.
Core parts of the dies are made by wire EDM and grinder.
Achieve to manufacture various dies: single press, simple progressive press and both of them.
Precision is the same as that of mass production. Simple die-sets enable to produce drawing-parts quickly. Produce parts by simple die-sets until mass production-die is completed.
It is suitable to produce for a test run of the automated machine.
